My 1st Blog so...bear with me here =P
Just have a question I need some opinions on I guess....
I am curious, if it is unconstitutional to force americans to pay for health insurance, then is it also unconstitutional to force americans to follow or obey any laws that are in place to help protect them and be required to buy auto insurance if they want to drive?
For example how we have road rules to keep our roads organized and keeps up alive for the most part >.>
Or like how you need to get a license and insurance to drive. Yes , I guess if you do not want to drive you do not have to worry about these things for the most part.
So with healthcare, I guess if you do not pay for health insurance, you should NOT be guaranteed emergency services or if you're pregnant, you should be turned away from the hospital JUST because you're not paying into health insurance.
Is it Constitutional to force people who want to drive to pay into these things and obey road laws?
Is it Constitutional to Allow people who are not paying into these services to make use of them?
Is it Constitutional to deny people a choice in obtaining affordable healthcare?
I am just trying to find out why people are OK with being forced to pay for auto insurance if they want to drive but do not want to be forced into health insurance to cover for their own health issues... or someone else's.
How often does one actually need to use their auto insurance in one year as compared to the amount of times one has gone to the emergency room (and were not able to pay) or needed healthcare checkups.
With that being said.. Is it REALLY unconstitutional to mandate this kind of healthcare onto american citizens?
What is UNCONSTITUTIONAL is forcing american citizens who want basic healthcare to buy into a monopolized healthinsurance industry that many cannot afford.
Ahh gotta love Capitalism.
Just curious if this made any sense and if my points were in the same category or if you cannot compare our FORCED laws that protect us to this "Obama Care". -- Ohh boy..
